I did not like this movie. I did not see any point to it, and that alone seems to make folks feel that it is great. Oh well. I'd say KG can have an acting career if he wants to. When that goat stood on its hind legs I was done. This was my face expression the entire movie😟. Yea I'm definitely watching this movie again. About damn time this man wins an Oscar am I right. 1% of the comments: Cool trailer! 99% of the comments: W H A T.

 

If you haven't seen The Lighthouse and you've debated whether you should or not. WATCH. Yeah. it's really that good! Pattinson and Dafoe are. Listening to Willem Defoe's farts with Noise Canceling Headphones.

 

And the Oscar goes to. 0:48. Exactly the same look as 20 years ago. So I had some friends in the grade above me who went to see this movie on the weekend, and they absolutely hated the film because of what this trailer showed them, also they were all high amid the feature. One of them claimed it was the worst movie they had ever seen, another wanted to write hate mail to the creators. Then I went to go see the film 2 years later entirely expecting to see what made their view on it so exasperated. I didn't. I absolutely adore this film. It's in no way one of the greatest horror films but what it can directly show contemporary audiences is that of what the genre of horror is actually about. Horror does not aim to scare you, horror is horror; it's supposed to shine a light on completely out of reach circumstances apart from our normal lives, if artistic it can be to represent something. What, for me, makes a good horror film is not a scare I endure during the film, it's a series sequences or images that you can take a step back and directly say: That's horror.

Dat is like I don't care if she's a corpse covered in Seaweed. I'm gon' gets mine 💦💦💦💦. This movie perfectly captured the effects of alcoholism. Jesus Christ this movie was terrifying (in a good way.
